Overview
Hana April Inc. partnered with the Minnesota Science Museum and the Smithsonian to produce the four-day Museums Advancing Racial Justice Conference, a gathering dedicated to meaningful dialogue and collaborative action. Our goal was to ensure every aspect of the guest experience was seamless, intentional, and aligned with the values of both institutions.
Our Role
We thoughtfully managed every detail, including:
Logistics and operations to keep the multi-day program running smoothly
Signage, name tags, and way-finding to create clear and welcoming navigation for attendees
Transportation coordination to move guests efficiently and comfortably between activities
Photography and vendor management to capture and support the event at every stage
Accessibility planning to ensure all guests could fully participate
Menu sourcing and curation with diverse, inclusive food offerings
Décor design that reflected the spirit of both institutions and the mission of the conference
